The Wise Men, mysterious figures from the East, were guided by a celestial star to Bethlehem. These wise men were drawn to a divine sign that heralded the birth of a special child. There is no reason to believe they were kings, but more likely were astrologers or "magi" as the Bible says.  Following the star's lead, they journeyed to Bethlehem, where they found the infant Jesus, accompanied by Mary and Joseph.

Upon meeting the child, the Wise Men offered precious gifts: gold, symbolizing royalty; frankincense, a perfume signifying divinity; and myrrh, a symbol of mortality. Their visit, filled with wonder and reverence, marked the recognition of Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah, not only by the Jewish people but also by those from distant lands. Their story is a testament to the universal appeal of Christ's birth and the profound impact it had on the world. Their arrival is celebrated with s special Sunday and sometimes with a feast called Epiphany.
