Why should I come?
We believe that all people need to nurture their health; physical, emotional, and spiritual. In our community we nurture spiritual health by living out three important things:
At our church we…
…help people learn to love God, love their neighbors, and love themselves. (that last one is critical in today’s world)
…proclaim that God loves you just as you are, and God is challenging you to become more.
…recognize we cannot do everything, so we strive to do something!
What are your gatherings like?
Music is big
We feature all sorts of music. Each gatherings offers a time for everyone to sing together along with a rotating selection of special musical offerings. This includes soloists, a choir, praise band, bells, and more. Many of our music groups are open to receiving new people even if it is new to you.
We deal with real life
We strive to build people up and challenge everyone to love their neighbors and themselves more. We do this because we understand that is what God wants us to do.
We help people not sell themselves short, but instead see themselves as God’s beloved child capable of doing extraordinary things.
We teach from the bible as a way to point us towards God. We never use the bible as a weapon or in a way that may tear people down. Instead, the bible is treated as it was always intended to be, as the story of the relationship between God and people.
We love kids
Children of all ages are welcome in our worship gatherings. We get that kids fidget and make noise and we love it! Children are often unafraid to express what many of us are feeling, I’m bored. Having children in our service reminds us to keep things moving and keep things engaging. Worship should never be a chore!
For parents interested there is qualified nursery care for children three and under available. We get sometimes you need a break. For older children most weeks we offer Sunday school after the children’s message until about 11am.
Youth group meets most Sundays at 11:15am. Our goal is to help craft future adults who have the self esteem, grit, and practical skills they need to succeed in the world that awaits them next. Oh, and no small amount of fun will be had 🙂
Who is invited?
