How to Participate

Spending time slow-cooking good food for friends and neighbors is a great way to spend the day. Doing so with others is even more of a blessing. So, why not take advantage of our
large open lawn and invite everyone to come and enjoy? This is not a BBQ competition, but a time of sharing what we have because it is a gift to do so.

Eat Something
Folks are invited to join us for a picnic between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Please bring your camping chairs, outdoor games, beverages, and anything else you’d like. You can then sample the various offerings prepared by the volunteers. There is no cost, but donations will be gladly accepted.

Smoke Something
If you’d like to spend the whole day with other BBQ enthusiasts smoking up something delicious to share with your neighbors, please contact Pastor Jeremy. You are asked to prepare one meat item and one side dish. Feel free to be creative! If you’d like to help transport grills with your truck or volunteer to assist with the BBQ that day, please feel free to sign up as well. You can set up that morning or, if you’re feeling adventurous, the night before and camp out 🙂
